Indie Book Linkup

Welcome to the intro page for the Indie Book Linkup, a monthly linkup for independent authors, publishers and book bloggers who’ve reviewed an indie publication during the current month.

Here, you’ll find how to participate and grab the super swishy swanky badge of honour!

Who can take part

Anyone who has an indie book related blog post for the current month. Whether you’re a book reviewer with a review of an indie book, an author who has a self-published release or an independent publisher with a single author collection, novel or a multi-author anthology, you’ll be welcome here.

What isn’t eligible

Announcements for future releases, cover reveals, traditionally published works or reviews thereof, publishing industry news or bookshop news. Anything allied to author or book services (e.g. copywriting, blog tour hosting, book formatting). No non-book content or blatant advertising.

Please only link one post a month  and note I do reserve the right to remove any link I feel is inappropriate.

Why take part?

I will tweet all links submitted to the party, at least once during the month and ask that you visit at least one other link on the list — you’ll get more exposure for your book or review and generate interest from potential readers and followers.

How to take part

Each month, there’ll be a brand new linkup blog post – I’ll put it out on social media, you can opt to receive a notification email and you’ll always be able to find it on this page.

  1. Create your blog post and add the Indie Book Linkup badge with a link to that month’s linkup post (not the autoerraticism homepage, please!)
  2. Visit the linkup blog post and click the “add your link” button.
    1. If it’s the first time you’ve participated, you’ll be asked to either create a login to help protect the linkup from spam.
  3. Once you’re logged in, paste the URL (web address) of your blog post and choose a photo or let it select the default for you.
    1. TIP: Square images work best, so if you’ve got an Instagram link for it
  4. Check back to see other participants and be part of the celebration of indie books!
Bonus points

Okay, so there aren’t any actual points but I’d appreciate if you could share this linkup with anyone who might be interested — the more people that see it, the more exposure your link will get.

And whilst you’re here, please do follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Goodreads — the more the merrier!
